Pipe Profiling

KISTLER is a 45-year-old family-run manufacturing company engaged in engineering and manufacturing of welding positioning and cutting systems for the welding trade, especially for pipe cutting and welding. They are well known throughout the industry for their product quality and technical finesse. And now, Kistler is one of the shareholders in YES Machinery. 

They are having 2 types of Pipe cutting machines.

PLC Controlled which are known as SCM Range (Standard range from 300 to 630mm dia. Sizes and customized ones of 1000mm )

CNC Controlled which are known as RSM Range (Standard range from 400 to 1200mm dia. Sizes)

Pipe cutting machines of the SCM range are used for pipe cutting and profiling in the workshop as well as on-site. The SCM machines are equipped with two PLC-controlled axes which enable the machine to cut pipes in conjunction with a plasma or oxy-fuel torch. The workpiece is clamped by a driven chuck (axis1), then the torch is moved over the pipe (axis2). Optional, a third controlled axis can be added to enable the machine to bevel end cuts (straight, miter and branches). All programming is menu-driven; the machine is, therefore, easy to operate.

A) SCM Range   

RSM series of CNC controlled pipe cutting machines, set at the highest level of precision and handling comfort. These CNC controlled pipe cutting machines, are specialized for exact cutting of branches and penetrations occurring in pipeline construction. The cutting procedure is through oxy-fuel and plasma. They are equipped with 5 CNC-controlled axis.
